Open-Door VEFS Project 


The VEFS is a Vegetable, Fruits and Spices farming project in open-door farm. The vegetables aimed are tomato, onion, carrots, watermelon and sweet pepper; fruits are papaya, passion and banana; spices are ginger, garlic and herbs. The production will be done throughout the year, for vegetables and spices in a 1000 m2, therefore the total are of 11000 m2 equivalent to 2.75 acres.



Screenhouses Project


The screenhouses project will aim on production of high value crop (Indeterminate tomato, hybrid cucumber and colored sweet pepper) throughout the year in three screenhouses. Each screenhouse will be 30 by 8 m containing 550 plants.






Organic Farming Project


The project aim on producing leafy vegetables through organic farming techniques, vegetables will include Chinese cabbage, spinach, amaranth, leaf kale, lettuce and pumpkin leaf and sweet-potato leaf.





Vegetable Min-Supermarket


The HONE will have a min-supermarket in Kasulu town where all the produced vegetables, fruits and spices will be sold to retailers every week as the market strategy.
